Freewave is AI-native. We build with the latest AI tools in every part of the process: design, engineering, testing, and the boring bits in between. It's how a team you can count on one hand ships software with the scope and polish of a company ten times the size, and keeps shipping every week.
What that doesn't mean is shipping rough. Everything that leaves the studio is reviewed by a human, tested on real devices, and held to the standard we'd expect as players ourselves. The tools are new; the craft is old-fashioned.
We started Freewave because the software around people's hobbies is usually the worst software they use. Clubs run on spreadsheets, group chats, and goodwill. The fun parts of life deserve better tools, and someone has to build them carefully.
Freewave Apps Ltd is an independent studio based in London, founded by Sjoerd Geistdorfer. Sjoerd spent a decade across hospitality, data, and engineering before going all-in on building apps. Courting, our first app, came out of fellow club members' frustrations with poorly managed and poorly attended social play at his own club.
We're users first. If we wouldn't want to use it, we don't ship it.
